Next Meeting

Our next meeting is scheduled for December 2008 in Torino, Italy at the Sottodiciotto Filmfestival (Under-18 Festival)
www.aiacetorino.it

We don’t know the precise dates of the festival in 2008 yet, but we would already like to thank the 'Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia' in Torino for hosting our next meeting.
We are grateful to the Director Sergio Toffetti and our animation-campus partners from the Dipartimento Animazione: Chiara Magri, Laura Fiori, Eva Zurbriggen and Stefania Gallo for their generous proposition to meet in their school.
Many thanks also to Sarah Cortelazzo of AIACE Torino, Director of the Sottodiciotto Filmfestival.

Next Activity

The animation-campus assembly in Paris decided to launch a research on study plans and rules of animation schools all over the world. Our hope is to have a useful tool to compare the different study plans of animation schools and to stimulate the exchange of professional filmmakers as guest-lecturers, professors and students within the animation-campus network.
The result of this research will be presented in lecturing and discussion during our next meeting in Torino next year.
We are still looking for a competent person to be in charge of this project. Please announce yourself to animation-campus@focal.ch if you know somebody who could take over this task or who would like to join the research group. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have interesting information or questions on this subject.
More detailed information concerning the Torino event will follow in the next newsletter.

We wish you and your students a successful end of semester and a long and nice summer holiday.Katrin See you in Torino in December 2008!

Keep animating!
