Dear animation_campus members, Dear colleagues and friends,
This is a short message just before the summer break. As announced, our next meeting will be hosted by the "Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia" and the "Sottodiciotto" Festival on December 12 – 14, 2008 in Torino, Italy.
The animation_campus film program will be screened on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December. At the beginning of September we will ask you to send us the student films for the film-program.
You will receive more information about the Torino event in the next newsletter.
In the mean time, I would like to draw your attention to a Student Exchange Program between EPAC, Ecole Professionnelle des Arts Contemporains in Saxon/Switzerland and TNNUA, Tainan National University of Art, Tainan/Taiwan R.O.C.
The student exchange will take place from 15th of August till 12th of September 2008.
In order to create synergies between animators and comic-strip artists, the students will work on two storyboards/comic-strips for two different film projects.
Furthermore there will be a number of visits to local artists and institutions, as well as forums in Saxon and Bern.
Diploma and Master Students from animation_campus schools are welcome to join the workshop. Please consult the attached information as well as the application form.
