018 — Spring 2009

Dear animation-campus members, dear colleagues and friends,
The meeting in Torino, Italy, on December 12, 13 and 14, 2008 took place according to the established program.

Participants

Many thanks to all those who actively contributed to the animation-campus activities during its fifth year of its existence:
Sara Cortellazzo for hosting our fifth meeting in Torino, for the "carte blanche" film program, the free entrances to the Sottodiciotto Filmfestival, to the Torino Film Museum and the Saturday night dinner.
Chiara Magri for organizing our assembly at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and the guided visit of the CSC school fascilities.
Olivier Riechsteiner, ESBA Geneva, for editing the two 'Carte Blanche' Student Film Programs.
FOCAL for its general financial support for the year 2008.

New Members and Changes

Yu Wei-Chen newly represents the TNNUA Tainan National University of Arts, Taiwan.

We received a demand of the Nanyang Technological University, School of Art, Design and Media in Singapore for membership. We will be happy to present this school at our next meeting at the Fantoche Film Festival in Baden, Switzerland.

We are happy and proud to welcome the new members. Their interest in the animation-campus will establish new synergies between higher and further education on an international level. Hopefully it will help to develop co-produced workshops and allow more exchange of students and professors between our member schools.

It was also decided not to renew the membership of partners which never respond to the invitations nor manifest any interest in our activities. A special mail will however be sent out to the members of those schools in order to give them the opportunity to confirm or not their non- interest in the future animation-campus activities.
